Here’s a recent article by Business Week about the up and coming Japanese shoe company, Asics. They are the fourth largest sportswear company coming in behind Nike, Puma, and Adidas. Thinking about getting a pair of these myself.

Khaki Creative & Design Inc. is a brand consulting firm based out of Beijing, who have a very impressive portfolio. Nod Young, the creative director, also has his own flickr account and a Computerlove profile with design work. I love the fusion of traditional and modern styles. More samples after the jump.
Another car advertisement. This one is done by Shanghai Advertising which is one of China’s largest domestically owned agencies. I don’t find the ad’s message very strong, but the art direction is great. It is quite successful in making the car “cool.”
